Multimillion dollar renovation two-thirds complete at Holiday Inn – Urbana

Full renovation work on the eight year-old Holiday Inn – Urbana is two-thirds complete. Phase one of the multimillion dollar renovation project, began in May of 2004, features a new look for the guest rooms on the first and second floors, with new carpeting, wall vinyl, bedding, drapery, furniture and free high-speed internet. The newly renovated rooms are being featured to our Priority Club guests. The first phase of the renovation project also features new wall vinyl and carpeting in the corridors of all five floors of the hotel.

The second completed phase of the project features new elegant vinyl and carpeting throughout the banquet and meeting facilities in the hotel and the creation of additional meeting space within the hotel. The hotel’s restaurant, Seasons, has also been redesigned and relocated, providing patrons with a more relaxed and intimate setting for their evening dinners. In addition to the upgrades to the banquet space and meeting facilities, the hotel’s main lobby and guest registration desk have been re-carpeted and re-designed to meet the needs of our guests.

The final major phase of the renovation project is set to begin in December of 2004 and will feature room upgrades to the remaining three floors of the hotel. Hampton Inn and Suites recognized in the Top 10 Overall Quality Scores in the Central Region

Our guests are speaking, and we love what they are saying! The Hampton Inn and Suites – Springfield, SW has been recognized as one of the Top 10 Hampton Inns in the Central Region of the United States. The Central Region is comprised of over 115 Hampton Inn and Hampton Inn and Suites hotels.

The Hampton Inn and Suites – Springfield, SW, opened in 2002, is an 83-room hotel featuring free high-speed internet with wireless access in the lobby, free hot breakfast every morning, evening receptions Tuesday through Thursday, and microwaves and refrigerators in all guest rooms. The hotel also showcases a swimming pool and hot tub, exercise facility, on-location miniature convenience store, and public access computers in the lobby.

It isn’t just the physical amenities that have the guests raving. JDC Hotel ranks 4th in the nation for Signature

The Hampton Inn and Suites – Springfield, SW is at it again. After eleven complete months in 2004 the hotel is ranked number four of 2,143 hotels nationwide participating in the Signature Sales program. The success of the program at the hotel, measured by mystery callers to the hotel each month, has lead to an increase in guest satisfaction and frequent comments about the ease and quality of the reservation process when calling the hotel directly.
